Shop owner Kate Palliser said: "They've been outside for three years now - I put them there for the Queen's 80th birthday.
"They were completely broken so replica clothing will need replacing, but they're olive trees so it's not easy.
"I just think it is totally sad and a lot of my customers have also expressed sadness."
